Fancy Rock-climbing or Canoeing? Hill walking or low ropes courses?
Adventure Training forms an essential part of the Air Cadet's training syllabus. As well as helping cadets forge new friendships, adventure training enables all cadets to show off their leadership qualities, whilst offering great challenges and lots of fun. There is a wide ranging Adventure Training syllabus in the ACO - you could try your hand at watersports, skiing, hill walking, climbing, caving, orienteering, mountain biking and more.
Courses
A number of adventure training courses are available to cadets throughout the year. These include week long camps at the Air Cadet Adventure Training Centres at Llanbedr & Windemere, Skiing courses in Germany, Parachuting and Off Shore sailing. Squadron run courses in AT are also available and organised frequently.
Courses are available for Staff, Instructor Cadets & cadets in a number of activities, all of which work towards a qualification from a National Governing Body.
