The Air Cadets have a skilled and dedicated staff team, but we are always looking for more talented individuals to join us, whatever your background. You do not need to have been in the armed forces, or have any particular military skills to work with us. Training is provided at various levels.

 There are three categories of staff:

* RAFVR(T) Officer (uniformed)
* Senior Non-commissioned Officer (SNCO) (uniformed)
* Civilian Instructor (CI) (non uniformed)

The minimum age for joining as an adult volunteer is 20. Please visit the Air Cadets website to find details of your local squadron. If you would like any more information about joining our squadron as an adult volunteer, please contact and speak to our commanding officer, or pop down on a parade night to discuss things further (we recommend you call in advance of turning up, so we can guarantee we're "on site" on that evening and not parading away from our building. This ensures you won't make a wasted trip!).
