Gift Aid is an easy way of increasing the value of subscriptions at no extra cost to yourself.

The Gift Aid declaration can only be used if you or a member of your household pays income tax.

It doesn’t matter at what rate you pay tax but it enables us to claim back 28p for every £1 from the Inland Revenue. So, for example, for every £72 of subscriptions, we can claim back £20 which when multiplied by the number of cadets (50+), it makes a significant addition to our income at no extra cost to yourself.
